​During the 1980's and 1990's, As Artistic and Producing Directors for Hystopolis Productions, of Chicago, Michael Schwabe and Lawrence Basgall built many popular productions for children and adults alike. Schwabe and Basgall have also worked with Spiffy Pictures, a television production company, as puppet designers, builders and performers in Jack's Big Music Show on Nick, Jr., a Nickelodeon Station. The two worked several months in London as part of the Spiffy Pictures team filming Walt Disney's Bunnytown currently playing on Playhouse Disney.  More recently they worked with Spiffy Pictures on the Warner Bros.  Scooby-Doo! Adventures The Mystery Map Original Puppet Movie now available on DVD.
